Speech-Language Pathologist Email Phone: 262-245-5571 Hi, my name is Dana Syring and I have been the Speech-Language Pathologist for the Williams Bay School District since September 2000. I feel fortunate to serve students in both of our buildings who need a little extra boost with various speech-language skills.
I grew up in East Troy, Wisconsin, and currently live there with my husband and son. I attended UW-Madison for Pharmacy for two years before transferring to UW-Whitewater for Communication Sciences and Disorders (CSD). The idea of helping children express their ideas, wants, and needs seemed the perfect fit for me. I completed my Bachelor’s and Master’s degrees (1998/2000) at UW-Whitewater and regularly supervise graduate students. I occasionally teach a course for the CSD department and serve on their Advisory Board as well.
Besides playing with my son I enjoy paddling, pedaling, cooking, eating, walking, golfing, and of course talking! I love to be outside any chance I can and spending time with family/friends outdoors is definitely my favorite way to pass a summer day.
My years at the Bay have seemed to pass in the blink of an eye and I am so thankful to come to a job that I LOVE every day. I look forward to helping our students become effective communicators and the best that they can be!
