Information

The PSAT(Preliminary Scholastic Aptitude Test) /National Merit Scholarship Qualifying Test is a co-sponsored program by the College Board and National Merit Scholarship Corporation (NMSC).  The PSAT/NMSQT measures the critical reading, math problem-solving and writing skills that you've been developing throughout your life. The PSAT is considered a "Pre-SAT" test and is recommended for any student wanting to take the SAT.

Common Questions

When do I take the PSAT?

The PSAT has a national testing date of October 13, 2010. All juniors or interested sophomores can sign up in the Counseling Office. Junior students get first seats, if there are available seats, sophomores are encouraged to sign up!

When do I get my results?

There will be a group meeting 6-8 weeks after the test date. The counselor will explain how to read your score report and what your scores tell you.
